Windows PowerShell is a command line and shell scripting language that helps IT specialist in managing their Windows infrastructure. Although PowerShell ships with all versions of Windows Server 2008, it is not installed by default. This blog post will describe the steps you need to follow to install it.
First we need to start Server Manager.

The on the left pane we select Features, then on the right pane we select Add Features

In Add Features Wizard we check Windows Power Shell and click Next button.

Then we will be presented with confirmation screen on which we click Install.

After installation is finished we will see the confirmation screen that installation was successful.

Then we can check that PowerShell was installed.
